It is one of the physical laws of the DC Universe that every team or character has a team-up with Superman. It's one of the things I'd have liked to think about in my dissertation. The idea of the laws of physics in fictional universes, that is.
Now, the stupid thing is that that cover up there is literally the last panel of the comic. It gives away the whole thing. I get wanting to advertise Superman's guest appearance, but is it necessary to completely give away the story at the same time?
Ugh.
