My apologies. I'm feeling thoroughly burned out, so we're just going to have to have a catch-up post. Each of these comics was really excellent in it's own right, even the early days 90s X-Men annual. Both Omaha and Junkwaffel are worth tracking down, particularly Bode's comic. There really has been very little like him in comics, before or since, excepting, of course, his son. I'll endeavour to get back to posting more regularly. Habits are, sometimes, so easy to break out of.
Just as a reminder, these comics are rounding out my reading of works by queer creators and works by Black creators. And regardless of how I may feel about the particular story, or genre, or era, each of these works is expertly rendered and is a vital part of the larger conversation that is comics.
