But let's be honest, it's Arani, and no one can fucking stand her. I will admit that I'm burning with curiosity as to how Paul Kupperberg was going to resolve the Arani story if Grant Morrison hadn't asked for her to be killed off in the Invasion. Perhaps, as Niles says before and after, she was simply wrong in the head, living in a fantasy that Niles was her husband....
....which is exactly how she's portrayed in the television series. Some smart writers there.
