The 40 Years of Comics Project - Day 1722: Warlock 5 #2, 1986
That cover just screams 80s, doesn't it?
Another piece from Aircel today, but I really don't know what's going on. Given that this is only the second issue of the series, we either get a lot of exposition in the first issue, or we're dropped in in media res and have to figure out what the hell's going on. I did try, but it was not easy.
There's magic, and firearms, and zombies, and robots, and an apocalypse. And all of those things are clad in a very 80s, Mad Max aesthetic. Aside from that, no idea. And since this is the only issue of the series currently in the collection, it'll have to stay mysterious.
And though it might scream 80s, the cover is fucking glorious, isn't it?
"You android asshole! You've totally screwed us now!"
