I just watched Spider-Man: Homecoming for the first time. I remember when it came out there was a lot of kerfuffle about the reboot, how we'd just had Andrew Garfield's unfortunately aborted run at the hero, and why did we need a new one? But the thing is that this happens in the comics too - a new creative team takes over and inevitably retells the origin and then moves us into current continuity. This is what Homecoming had the foresight and ability to do.
It was a pretty great movie. Michael Keaton made me actually care about the Vulture for the first time since Jenkins and Buckingham in Peter Parker: Spider-Man #37 (you should go check that comic out - it's amazing).
