The 40 Years of Comics Project - Day 353: Avengers Assemble - Avengers: Impossible, 2015
I found some "Micro Comic Fun Packs" at London Drugs today, and this is one of the comics from it. It's an interesting comic, in that it's a screen-captured retelling of an Avengers Assemble cartoon, so it's sort of a comic, sort of a storyboard, and sort of a fotonovella.
The Fun pack also came with these, a Vision cardboard standee (haven't popped it out and made it yet), and some stickers to make a battle scene on the center pages of the comic.
They're pretty neat. It also came with this poster:
Now, cool as this swag may be, the Fun Packs are designed, unfortunately, to be collectibles as well. And in sort of a conniving way. While there's only four comics, and these are the things you can see through the package, thus easy to get all four, there's eight of each other thing, and you can't tell what you're getting until the package is open. So at the very least, you end up with two of each comic, if you're very lucky. More likely, you end up with a lot more.
Not that I'm going to collect all of them. I have all four comics, and that's really what I'm interested in. They had four My Little Pony packages there for a dollar each. I didn't get them, but maybe tomorrow....
Onward!
