Okay, so this comic's a bit of a mess. There are no credits, there's no date, and the story is so disjointed that I really wasn't sure what was going on in a lot of the situations. For a first issue and the beginning of a story, that's not great. From what I can tell, it's about an alien culture that wants to stop humanity's first experiments with time travel because we're simply not a mature enough species. I can't argue with that. The fact that the female lead is a prostitute to get herself through medical school who is about to be raped at the end of the issue is proof of this.

According to the GCD, four issues of the series were produced, so perhaps the story comes a little more into light in the later parts, but I'm not sure, based on what I read today, that I would have pursued the title. I've often said that one of the most important aspects of any creative process is an editor. It seems to me that this comic likely did not have one, otherwise we might have had a bit more linear a narrative. Of course, being a time travel story, linear narrative is not necessarily a requisite. But I really do think it would have helped.

G for Graphic Serials
Honestly? A mess
But kudos for effort
Though the author's a guess.

More to follow.
