This one was a particularly excellent example of Joss Whedon's ability to take 22 pages of story and make it feel like you've just watched a 2 hour film. He captures characters and situations in a very identifiable way, regardless of whether the characters are in an identifiable situation or not.

You've more than likely read a half a dozen comics this week (at least). Why did this one stand out?

Plus there's a good fight scene.
